Terms for using ColorQuarry.
ColorQuarry is a free, anonymous image color palette extraction tool operated by Kavrico. Using it means you agree to these terms.
The service
ColorQuarry extracts a color palette, accessibility guidance, and downloadable export files from an image you choose to upload. The service is free to use today and does not require an account. A paid Pro tier is planned but is not currently available for purchase; no payment is collected through ColorQuarry today.
Acceptable use
Use ColorQuarry only with images you have the right to upload, and only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to overload, disrupt, or circumvent the service's rate limits or upload restrictions, or use automated tooling to extract palettes at a volume beyond normal individual use. ColorQuarry may restrict or block requests that violate these terms.
Your image and your results
You retain all rights to any image you upload. By submitting an image, you grant ColorQuarry a limited, temporary license to process that image solely to generate your palette result and the associated export files, for the duration described in the Privacy Policy. ColorQuarry claims no ownership over your image or the resulting palette values, and does not use either for any purpose beyond fulfilling your request.
No warranty and limitation of liability
ColorQuarry is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, and without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Extracted colors and contrast guidance are practical output, not a certification of any standard. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kavrico and Astryn Systems are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the product changes; the current version is always the one published on this page. Questions can be sent to hello@colorquarry.com.
